  • Simple, Hassle-Free Application: If you’re leaving a group benefits plan from any provider, you can easily qualify for an After Group Employment Plan. You don’t need to be an existing benefits member to apply (with the exception of Critical Illness Insurance).

  • Seamless, Continuous Coverage: Maintain uninterrupted insurance coverage for yourself and your family. In many cases, you can secure benefits similar to those from your previous workplace plan. To ensure guaranteed coverage, contact us within 31 days for life insurance conversion and 60 days for other coverage options after your workplace benefits end.

  • Flexible Plans to Fit Your Needs: Whether you need temporary protection or long-term security, the After Group Employment Plan offers flexible options tailored to your life stage and circumstances.

  • Choose from These After Group Employment Plans:

    🏥 Health Coverage Plan (Health & Dental Insurance)

    If you or your spouse are Canadian residents aged 18–74 and covered by a provincial or territorial health plan, you can apply to continue your health and dental coverage. Apply within 60 days of your workplace coverage ending—no medical exams or health questions required in most cases.

    ❤️ Critical Illness Insurance

    If you had critical illness coverage through your employer with a major insurer, you may be eligible to convert it for yourself, your spouse, and your children—no medical tests or health questions required.

    • Keep up to $100,000 of coverage each for you and your spouse, and $20,000 for each eligible child.
    • Apply within 60 days after your workplace coverage ends.
    • Available for individuals aged 18–69 (or 65, depending on your former employer’s plan). Children must be under 18.

      ⚰️ Life Insurance (Possible Guaranteed Conversion)

      If you’re under age 65, you can convert your group life insurance into an individual policy without any health questions or medical exams—just apply within 31 days of your workplace coverage ending.

      • For Quebec residents, coverage is also available for spouses and children.

        📄 My Life Plan (Term Life Insurance)

        This yearly renewable term life insurance is an individual policy that stays with you, no matter where life takes you.

        • Available for individuals and spouses aged 18–65.
        • Apply within 60 days of your workplace coverage ending with just a few simple health questions.
